If these two were to sit down and have a conversation with each other , well it would probably be the best thing to happen to the school systems yet. Obviously they willl disagree on most parts of each other's ideas, however I believe that they are both open minded enough too resolve on a solid school system. This school system I think would consist of something like Finland where their are no private schools that are personally payed to get into. However in all these schools the circulams would be a lot more interesting and hands on.

I agree on the fact that both Sahlberg and Sir Robinson would have different views on what they would want to do with education here in America. However I disagree that they both could implement an idea together. Both America and Finland are two entirely different countries where in Finland, you have a population compared to that of the smallest state in America. On the other hand America is a country of its own with a bigger population and that is where the problem would rise if Sahlberg’s proposition were to be heard in America. America is a booming country and in my opinion I doubt it would listen or take ideas from Sahlberg and lean more toward Sir Robinson’s proposition.

ReplyDeletewhen it comes to providing hands on material to the students I completely agree. when we are able to get up, move around, and work hands on there is a better chance of being able to learn more and possibly make better grades. I think for the most part, they will be on the same page. From what I know, they are open minded and will willingly do what they can to better their students. There may be a few disagreements between the two here and there but I believe they will stay focused on what matters the most which will be the children.
